Cohort 1 wraps up this week. The calculator was one of four tools that came out of six weeks of building:
Week 1 — Materiality Matrix. A working double materiality assessment tool. Not a slide with bubbles on it. A tool that holds the scoring logic and the stakeholder input.
Weeks 2 to 4 — Supplier Engagement Portal. The big one. Suppliers log in, answer questionnaires, and upload evidence. The data lands structured, ready to work with. No more chasing Excel files through email threads.
Week 5 — Carbon Emission Calculator. The one you just watched.
Week 6 — Decarbonization Platform and Project Tracker. Reduction projects, owners, timelines, and impact, visible to the whole team.
Here is the idea behind all of it:
You are not in the AILab to learn how to do your sustainability work. You already know how to do your sustainability work.
You are there to make that work live inside a tool.
Your materiality logic. Your supplier questions. Your emission factors. Right now that knowledge lives in your head and in scattered spreadsheets. After six weeks, it lives in tools you own and can hand to your team.

Now the news: Cohort 2 moved to August 24
Cohort 2 was set to start August 10. Summer vacation had other plans, for me and for half the people who wanted to join.
So the new start date is Monday, August 24.
Which means one thing for you: if you missed the registration window, it just reopened. You have two weeks to grab a spot and build your own version of what you just saw.
